Castro Camera in Milk
The original Castro Camera no longer exists, but was recreated for Milk at the same location.

In Vertigo, Jimmy Stewart follows Kim Novak all around San Francisco, and the two end up at Stewart's apartment. The owners were sick of tourists constantly hanging around their front door, and put up a stucco-covered wall in front of the house and redesigned the entryway.
