Silicon Valley's economy is firing on all cylinders, and the region's well-established tech companies are on a real estate spending spree. A plethora of new office buildings are springing up throughout the region, but a only handful of firms are planning projects that will truly shake up the Valley's oft-bland architectural scene. Seeing as two of those companies, Apple and Google, were recently declared the most valuable businesses on earth, their willingness to spend big bucks on fancy new digs should come as no surprise.
