Stanyan Park Hotel

Located directly across from Golden Gate Park, this historic hotel has been going under one name or another for over 100 years. The Victorian-style 36 room hotel is quintessentially classic San Francisco.

Argonaut Hotel

Located across from the San Francisco Maritime Historic Park, this hotel offers waterfront views, access to the cable car turnaround, and Fisherman's Wharf. The Kimpton hotel location was originally a warehouse for the California Fruit Canners Association.

The Westin St. Francis

Located adjacent to Union Square, San Francisco's unofficial heart of the city, and shopping destination, the St. Francis has stood for almost 110 years. The original portion was constructed in 1904, with additions in 1913 and 1972, totaling over 1,200 rooms.

Inn at the Presidio

Located directly in the Presidio National Park, the 26-room Inn at the Presidio is a tough reservation, being the only hotel located in the entire park. Built in 1903 to house unmarried officers, Pershing Hall, where the bulk of the room are located, was converted to a hotel in 2011.

Located across the street from Yerba Buena Gardens, this 31-story highrise hotel offers great views of the park, bay bridge and skyline. The contemporary 404-room hotel was completed in 1999, and also houses Bliss Spa.

Hyatt Regency San Francisco

With it's proximity to Sue Bierman Park, and Justin Herman Plaza, the Hyatt Regency supplies plenty of park access as well as world-class views of the San Francisco Bay. Be sure to stop by and check out the beautiful atrium of this 17-story hotel.

Hotel Whitcomb

The historic Whitcomb Hotel, located kitty-corner to the Civic Center/UN Plaza, was originally built in 1910. The hotels location in the seedy Mid-Market area has clearly taken its toll on the on the hotel's ability to upgrade over the years, but with the revitalization of the neighborhood going on, don't be surprised if this survivor attempts a return to a finer style.

Hilton San Francisco Financial District

Located directly across from "the heart of Chinatown," this hotel is not only adjacent to Portsmouth Square, it is attached to it by a pedestrian bridge. The 27-story hotel also offers near-unobstructed views of Coit Tower, Alcatraz, and Ghirardelli Square.

Huntington Hotel

Opened in 1924, the Huntington Hotel is located directly across from Huntington Park, both named after railroad tycoon Collis P. Huntington. The 12-story Georgian-style brick building houses 135 rooms, the Nob Hill Spa, and Big Four restaurant.

Palace Hotel, San Francisco

With its location across from McKeesan Plaza, the palace Hotel has been catering to the finest of San Francisco's guests since 1909. The historic hotel, located downtown on Market street, features an opulant marble-laden lobby, the Pied Piper Bar and Grill, and afternoon tea in the Garden Court.
