Curbed San Francisco's Guide To Nob Hill's Secret Treasures

View as Map

San Francisco's Nob Hill neighborhood is full of fantastic and secretive narrow alleys and dead end one block streets. Some feature pockets of colorful Victorians, other have impressive and new contemporary abodes. All are residential. The best thing about these hidden treasures is that you'd never know they existed because they're so inaccessible-- until now.

We've put together a map with the best and most hidden secret spots in Nob Hill. Some are so narrow or small that they aren't even viewable on Google Maps. Please put on a pair of sensible shoes (Nob Hill is just that- a hill!) and follow our lead to some of San Francisco's most interesting and hidden spots.

And another thing: SF isn't the only site in the Curbediverse that's put together an architectural walking tour. Check with the other city sites to see maps of the coolest buildings they could find.
