Since homes are selling like hotcakes left and right and for well over asking, we thought it'd be fun to produce a map of the 25 most expensive homes for sale in San Francisco. As you can imagine, the bulk of the properties are in Pacific Heights. There's also a condo or two on the map, but the overwhelming majority are single-family homes. The most expensive home in San Francisco is 2845 Broadway on Billionaire's Row. The completely unfinished home is currently asking $38,500,000, down quite a bit from its original asking price of $65,000,000. The least expensive on our map is an octagon house on Russian Hill that's asking $5,200,000. What surprised us: the top three most expensive homes are all in pretty bad shape, and will require a very expensive renovation if sold. What didn't surprise us: those homes have been languishing on the market for years.
