Although Dolores Park has, as of late, turned into a weekend command post for Allbirds aficionados and IPA know-it-alls, it remains one of the prettiest public parks in San Francisco. And the homes—many of which are multi-unit Victorians and Edwardians—bordering the hilly green command a pretty penny.

Take, for example, this renovated top-floor condo at 553 Dolores. Featuring three bedrooms, one and a half bathrooms, and 1,683 square feet, this Mission Dolores unit is a rare treat along the prized stretch of Dolores between 18th and 19th Streets.

Highlights here include archways, crown moldings, hardwood flooring, and soaring ceilings. New kitchen, bathrooms, and light fixtures have all been added in recent years, giving the circa-1912 home a much-needed reboot. And the shared patio, encased in greenery, would be a delight on warm days.

A classic San Francisco home bearing a 2019 San Francisco price tag: Asking is $1,695,000 through Matthew Woebcke of Compass.
