It’s back

As Labor Day Weekend wrapped up, Burning Man 2018 proved to be a bold and beautiful sight. As tens of thousands of burners poured into the pop-up city, culminating on Sunday with the ignition of the titular man, a bevy of nifty structures and art pieces sproued up on the sand.

Each year, dozens and dozens of shrines and installations rise over the week, encircling this year’s theme of “I, Robot.” However, as USA Today reports, rangers decided to close one popular installation, “Night at the Climb In,” after someone fell off it late Tuesday. No word yet on reports of serious injuries.

Here are a few of the beautiful creations conceived and executed at this year’s Burning Man. Everything from ships, pop-art cars, illuminated skateboards, towering structures, and the fiery man himself will make an appearance.

For those who weren’t able to make it, here are some scenes you don’t want to miss.
