The real gag is that Nob Hill is secretly the most interesting neighborhood in San Francisco.

Take, for example, this hidden single-family home just off Washington. Who knew?

According to the realtor, “This two story home has undergone major sprucing while retaining the original kitchen, bathroom, and period details,” but the kitchen and bathroom do need updating.

Also of note, no parking, which is ideal for many Nob Hill denizens who eschew vehicular ownership since it’s easier to get around if one is able to hoof it.

Overall, a classic slice of San Francisco—a specimen that’s becoming few and far between in the era of antiseptic renovations. Lovely.
