Today’s the day.
After clinching their third NBA championship in four years, the Golden State Warriors, who swept the Cleveland Cavaliers Friday, will take a victory lap around downtown Oakland this morning. An estimated 1 million people are expected to pack the area today to see the team IRL.
Are you going? If so, check out what you need to know before you go.
If you are staying put but still yearn to see your favorite players live, fret not—we have you covered. There are a couple of ways to watch the parade from the comfort of your sofa or office desk.
Coverage of the parade is available via NBC Sports Bay Area, which will begin at 9:30 a.m. with a pre-parade show, followed by coverage of the parade itself at 10 a.m. Coverage is also available online by live stream through NBCSportsBayArea.com or the NBC Sports app.
Or, better yet, you can watch it right here! Beginning at 10 a.m., ABC 7 will bring you the parade live and the post-parade festivities in their entirety when it starts at 11 a.m. (Note that unlike last year, there won’t be a rally at the end of the parade. Instead, according to the NBA, there will be an “interactive” element to the parade that will allow fans to “share in the up-close excitement of the 2018 NBA Championship with the Warriors, their players, coaches, legends and staff.”)
