Snazzy new Atherton home asks $18.7 million

Comes with pool house and two—two!—wine rooms

Presumably none of us won last week’s massive lottery jackpots. Alas. But let’s take a gander at what we could have purchased had one of us possessed winning numbers. Take, for example, this three-story 2017 construction in lofty Atherton.

Featuring seven bedrooms, three baths, and an ample 11,787 total square feet (main residence: 10,213; pool house: 720; four-car garage: 854), 369 Fletcher Drive is new all the way, from the natural stone elements gracing the interiors to the rectangular pool out back. (Au revoir, bean-shaped pools.)

The home also comes with a library, an office, a den, a fitness center, a theater (a luxe home staple that seems out of place in these modern Netflix times), two temperature-controlled wine cellars, and a bar.

By the way, on this spot once stood an unassuming ranch-style home, which sold in 2014 for $4,200,000.

The new construction is asking $18,750,000.
