Get away from it all

A community envisioned 51 years ago by landscape designer and philosopher Lawrence Halprin, the Sea Ranch community follows strict guidelines when it comes to architecture, adhering to the concept of living sparsely on 10 miles of coastal land in Sonoma County.

His modernist style of simple timber frames dressed in wooden siding or shingles. can still be seen today. Take, for example. this three-bed, three-bath, circa 2017 Sea Ranch construction at 122 Waters Edge.

The new construction offers open and airy space, wood-beamed and vaulted ceilings, and views of the Pacific. In addition to a fireplace in the living room, it also comes with a cozy fire pit on the patio deck.

In a word, glorious.

Asking is $2,650,000.
