The weather this week started out on a high, with Karl making regular appearances to chill the evening air, then turned atrocious via servings of mugginess and humidity. Too much for any San Franciscan to bear, really.
But one bright spot was down in Santa Cruz where low cloud banks, giving off the illusion of a tornado, landed along the shoreline. A “fognado,” christens the ABC 7 News team.

Also, as SFist reports, there were some flashes of lightning last night in Discovery Bay and Mount Diablo.
