What once was sleepy little enclave of San Francisco has turned into an choppy sea of pricey homes. The current average asking price for Potrero Hill is $954 per square foot. While that’s no $1,259 per square foot, a la Pac Heights, it’s still way out there. However, the individual properties that make up this average range from $721/square feet (862 Wisconsin) to $1,365/square feet (1300 22nd Street).
Research and analytics outfit NeighborhoodX has been helping us figure out the breakdown in several San Francisco’s top neighborhoods. We began with Pacific Heights, now it Potrero Hill’s turn.
"One of the reasons that we present both average prices on a per-square-foot basis, as well as price ranges, is that neither metric on its own gives the full picture," said NeighborhoodX founder Constantine Valhouli.
Here’s a chart that breaks down the current price range in Potrero Hill.
