The stunner of an abode in Mill Valley, which listed for $2.79 in March, sold this week. And how could it have not? The 1961 midcentury design, conceived by noted architect Daniel Liebermann (he of the Radius House), proved a huge hit with readers.

Constructed out glass and old-growth redwood trees, the house’s most eye-catching accent was brick. Lots of it. Brick was used in the home’s swooping arches that traverse inside and out.

What’s more, the kitchen, baths, swimming pool, and fountain are all laced with vintage Heath tile. Lovely.

It sold over asking for $2,800,000.
