From the carved white picket fence to the iron light fixtures, there’s much to love about 56 Mirabel. Located in Bernal Heights, the circa 1900 home has benefitted from a recent renovation while leaving leaving some key details intact.

Featuring two beds, one bath, and 1,100 square feet, let’s start with the porch—namely, it has one. Such a rare treat in the city. And the white picket fence boasts whimsical details at the top of each picket.

While the interiors have a clearly contemporary feel (gray walls, Edison bulbs, et al.), some details have been spruced up to reveal their full glory. Take, for example, the living room light fixtures and some of the home’s doorknobs.

Last sold in 2012 for $840,000, it’s now asking $1,295,000.
