This is what Dolores Park looked like on Sunday

New, 5 comments

It was the top trend on Twitter too

While some think of Dolores Park as a touch too basic these days, others find it irresistible, especially as the mercury rises. When the sun shines bright, that’s our city’s bat signal to smear on SPF 50, grab a six pack of hipster beer, and head over to the city’s most popular park at the nexus of the Castro, Eureka Valley, and the Mission.

As temperatures soared to an ungodly 70-plus degrees on Sunday, Dolores Park filled to the brim with denizens looking to soak up sun and fun. So much so that it was the top trend on San Francisco Twitter during the afternoon.

For those of you who missed out on the action, here’s what went down in Dolores Park over the weekend. Fret not, folks, as temperatures will continue to be sunny and warm the entire week.
