Sold in 2013 for $1,252,500, the Italianate Victorian at 376 San Carlos, now boasting an interior and exterior overhaul, hopes to make well over that tidy sum.

Featuring five beds, five and a half baths, and 2,896 square feet, this two-floor abode comes with a solar-powered system, circuit car charger, white interiors, and more. From the light fixtures and the appliances to the patio and bedrooms, it’s been brought back to life with a contemporary bent.

Which isn’t to say this Victorian has left the past behind entirely. The old wooden banister and some of the Italianate exterior details have been restored with a slight modern touch.

The house’s listing is swift to point out that it’s a “legal 2-unit building [that] lives as a single family house.” Which means that there’s a lower level au pair unit with its own kitchen and separate entry.

Asking is $2,988,000.
