Built in 1955, a midcentury-modern home in Los Altos Hills, renovated by architect Scott Johnson in 2000, sold last week.

Coming in at four beds, four baths, and 5,440 square feet, 12950 Robleda Road boasted floor-to-ceiling windows, soaring ceilings, skylight towers, concrete floors, detached four-car garage, pool, guest house, and a one-acre fenced garden and orchard designed by landscape architect, Lisa Moulton.

It’s perhaps most noted for its unabashed use of yellow.

After landing on the market for the initial asking price of $19.4 million, it netted a still impressive $18,600,000.
