This 240-square-foot studio, tucked inside a 1913 Russian Hill Edwardian, landed on the market in September for a cool $379,000. Some readers were, understandably, bewildered.

“That is ludicrous,” said one commenter. “When will people finally start saying no and real estate owners start finding themselves with things they bought that they can’t sell?”

While another reader exclaimed, “And I thought my 520 square foot apartment was small!”

Well, someone found this petite abode too adorable to resist, snapping up the property for $400,000. The sale closed October 27.

While, indeed, one would have to lead a very minimal life to live here permanently, it could also turn into an investment should the new owner(s) decide to transform it into yet another Airbnb dwelling.
