A mere wisp of any midcentury vibe is all that remains at 3759 Redwood, where a 1952 Palo Alto Eichler underwent a massive renovation. While some of its Eichlerian elements remain—solarium wall, skylights, and clerestory windows—most of its former glory has been shed in favor of contemporary swagger.

Purchased in March 2016 for $1,960,000, those in charge of the remodeling did manage a few small miracles. Most notably, the carpet was pulled out in favor of hardwood flooring and the bathrooms were mercifully redone.

Coming in at three beds, two baths, and 1,588 square feet, this Eichler is asking $2,450,000.
