Controversial billionaire Peter Thiel put his Marina District home on the market this past May to the tune of $9.2 million. After a brief delisting, it’s been reintroduced this week with a massive price cut.
With the help of celeb-agent Justin Fichelson (Million Dollar Listing San Francisco), the ultra-private, approximately 7,000-square-foot mansion at 2140 Jefferson , which comes with five bedroom and six and a half baths, has been repriced care of a million dollar-plus pruning.
Conceived by architects Remick Architects and Master Builder, the contemporary construction started out as two 1940 houses, which were reconceived into one.
The house comes with an elevator, a penthouse lounge , rooftop deck, spiral staircase, gourmet kitchen with separate service stairs, heated floors, and more.
Asking is now $8,000,000.
