Own a sliver of Mint Plaza for under $600,000

Industrial-chic downtown condo hits market at not-so-bonkers price

To kickstart your Friday real-estate daydreaming, this studio space inside the sleek Mint Plaza landed on the market today. While neither a $5 million penthouse nor a two-in-one stunner, it is still a concrete crumb inside the tony industrial tower. Ideal for those who yearn to live the downtown lifestyle.

This studio comes with a full bath, custom murphy bed, and, as the ad notes, "beautiful reflected light [that] gleams off high gloss acid stained concrete flooring" (which is a delicate way of say that there’s not much natural light or view, save for the alley out back). It also features in-unit laundry and roof deck access.

It’s also located next to restaurants galore and a Blue Bottle. Which is nice, sure. But proximity to artisan coffee is never a great deciding factor when it comes to making major real estate decisions.

Also of note, parking isn't included, but you can rent a spot by the month for $510 (!) at the 5th and Mission Garage.

HOAs come to $492/month. Asking is only $595,000.
