What’s your favorite transit hack?

New, 3 comments

There’s got to be a better way around town

Welcome back to Open Thread Fridays, where we ask you to tell us something about San Francisco real estate, structures, housing, and more. Have something you want discussed? Let us know.

For some, it’s taking BART from downtown to the 24th Street station to head back to the East Bay. Others jump on the 12-Folsom to the 48-Quintara to get to Noe Valley in lieu of squeezing onto a crammed J-Church. And a few even add a Lyft into their morning/evening Muni commute.

What we want to know is: What are your tried and true transpo hacks? The uncommon lines. The clever bus layovers. The secret transportation hacks around the Bay Area that get you to and from work with some semblance of intact sanity.

Because not everyone has a transit hack. You know the types—the ones who, inexplicably, wedge their way onto a overcrowded L-Taravel even though there’s another L-Taravel right behind them? Those folks never know what they’re doing, clearly. But some of you do. So, please, spill the proverbial beans on your best transpo tip(s).
