Salesforce Tower Begins Curtain Wall Installation

Here we go, folks

181 Fremont. Transbay Transit Center’s cool paneling. The new SF MOMA expansion. Darth Vader. It’s cool to see Yerba Buena take shape. And on Monday, the impending Salesforce Tower, considered to be the epicenter of the growing neighborhood, inched closer to completion.

The San Francisco-based company’s new headquarters began its curtain installation—meaning, they started paneling the exterior. They even posted some footage of the windows being installed. Behold:

The tower should be completed in 2018, featuring 61 floors. It will be the tallest building in San Francisco, and the seventh tallest in the country.
