Though she's in the Bay Area today for a fundraiser in—where else?—Atherton, Hillary Clinton will come to San Francisco tomorrow to host an event at the Hibernia Bank, the Tenderloin's recently renovated historical landmark.
"Hillary Clinton’s event is the first public event at The Hibernia Bank, which is now fully renovated and ready for commercial leasing," said Seamus Naughten of Dolmen Property Group, in a press release. "Its timeless architecture and design, as well as its wide-open floor plan and iconic signage, will look spectacular at tomorrow’s high-profile event."
Doors open at 2pm; the event, the exact details of which we are still uncertain, starts at 4:15pm.
The 1892 Beaux Arts building, which was closed for the last 15 years, features marble floors, a gorgeous teller counter, and Tiffany-style stained glass skylights. It is, in a word stunning.
No word yet what the revamped space will officially become. But tomorrow it will be used to help usher the former First Lady back into the White House.
