Lovely Unit in Gated Condo Community Asks $675K

Check out the Victorian-era gated community you likely never heard of

What is it with the cute condos popping up on the market? This week, it seems like every day produces another character-rich unit.

The latest has something interesting going for it: 1939 O'Farrell Street is in Endicott Court, a collection of 1890s era Italianate homes gathered around a garden courtyard and tucked behind a wrought-iron gate.

The home for sale is a one-bedroom, one-bath unit. No square footage is listed, but it's clearly small. It may not be huge, but the style is large. The fact that it's a lower unit that looks onto a gardens at the front and back make it feel bigger (the master bedroom opens directly to the rear patio).

There are also some smart space solutions, such as a desk that's hidden behind closet doors in the living area.

It's located in the Western Addition, near where O'Farrell dead ends into Kimball Park, which makes it imminently walkable, and takes the sting off the lack of a garage.
