Brand New, Very Angular Condos at 450 Hayes Start Selling

New, 4 comments

Right before Christmas, floor plans for the new units at 450 Hayes debuted with lots of angles and shapes. Now, sales have officially started. The four-story building comes from DDG and DM Development, a partnership that has been active around the neighborhood over the past few years. It was designed by Handel Architects and sits at the heart of Hayes Valley. We don't have a full price list yet, but one-bedrooms start at about 620 square feet and prices start in the $900,000's.

There are 41 total units, including five that are below market rate. They range from one to three bedrooms and sit around a courtyard designed by Marta Fry Landscape Associates. There are wide-plank oak floors from a Benedictine monastery in Austria, high-end finishes, and a rooftop lounge. Downstairs there will eventually be a restaurant from Adriano Pagnini, the prolific restauranteur behind places like Belga, Lolinda, Delarosa, and Super Duper Burger.
