Where to see 35 of the most beautiful light art installations for the holidays

With the holiday weekend upon us and plenty of out-of-town friends and relatives massing, it’s the perfect time to show off just how lovely San Francisco can be this time of year.

But if you don’t quite know where to start, San Francisco Travel (a coalition of local businesses with an eye toward tourists) is still conducting their annual Illuminate SF Festival of Lights tours through New Years.

The tour hits up some of the dozens of glowing, alluring light art displays across the city. Although everybody already knows the Bay Lights, San Francisco has become something of a hub for smaller light installations, if you know where to look.
