Infinity Penthouse Drops $3.2M From Its Very Big Asking Price

New, 7 comments

Back in April, the marble-coated Infinity penthouse belonging to serial entrepreneur Gurbaksh Chahal listed quietly for $12 million. The penthouse had at one time been decked out in with zebra skin on the kitchen floors and headboards monogrammed with the letter G. The decor has been pared way, way back, but buyers still didn't jump at the chance to take over Chahal's uber-modern pad. The penthouse just popped up on the MLS, and the price has fallen out of the the eight figures, way down to $8.8 million.

The penthouse is really a blank slate at this point. According to its listing, it boasts 107 linear feet of glass with views out across downtown and the bay. It's certainly sleek, but there is also something antiseptic about its shiny, white interiors. The Infinity has fantastic amenities, including a pool, sauna, and screening room, and the unit comes with two parking spots. So will the penthouse find a buyer at its new, lowered price?
