Market Ban

Market Street's big changes take hold tomorrow when new rules that bar private vehicles from turning onto the the thoroughfare between Third and Eighth streets go into effect. The rules are meant to cut down on accidents to to help Muni buses move more quickly. Taxis will still be able to turn onto Market Street, but cars that are part of ridesharing services like Uber and Lyft are banned. [SFGate]
