Uber Schooled

Barbara Ann Berwick, the driver who took on Uber and was declared an employee rather than an independent contractor, is setting up a rideshare school out of her home in San Francisco to teach other drivers how to stake their claims as employees. The three-hour class will be held twice a week and will cost $50. Berwick calls herself a "seasoned litigator," and searching for her name in San Francisco court records pulls up a whopping 26 cases.
