Listed for: $6.25M
Received: $6.25M
Size: 4-bed, 4.5-bath, 6,383-square-foot single-family home
Location: 11 San Jacinto Way, St. Francis Wood
The skinny: Built in 1982, this "French Style Villa with English influence" landed on the market for the first time ever in May. "Suburbia" belongs on the list of influences, too, with that full-size heated outdoor pool and hot tub to match. The interiors play up tradition, with all manner of draperies and marbles in pale colors, though the house itself is the realty equivalent of a millennial. We hope the housewarming will be a pool party?
Listed for: $3.995M
Received: $4.5M
Size: 4-bed, 3.5-bath single-family home
Location: 3383 Clay St, Presidio Heights
The skinny: Hailing from way back in 1891, this four-bedroom Edwardian spent a scant three weeks on the market before selling for $505K above asking. The interiors have been made over with some contemporary touches, including one of those yawningly wide cuts from the kitchen to the patio. The backyard looks so flat and green that we're thinking it's artificial turf, which would save the new buyers from the indignities of droughtshaming.
Listed for: $1.995M
Received: $2.35M
Size: 3-bed, 3.5-bath, 1,917-square-foot single-family home
Location: 240 Caselli Ave, Eureka Valley
The skinny: The result of a major rebuilt in 2013-14, this Eureka Valley abode has the usual white oak floors and thick coats of white paint. We must say the light is lovely, aided by skylights and an eyeful of greenery coming in from the direction of the refreshingly naturalistic back patio.
