San Francisco's Old Mint made this year's list of America's 11 most endangered historic places, compiled by the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Built in 1874, the structure is one of the few downtown buildings that survived the 1906 earthquake and fire. The San Francisco Museum and Historical Society, which has long sought to turn the building into a museum, will lose its lease in August. Curbed National rounded up all 11 sites nationwide, this way.
