The start-up known as Campus, which aimed to house young people in group houses, has gone out of business. All residents of Campus's 30 or so properties will need to move out by August 31, when the properties will return to their owners, from whom Campus was renting. Although the start-up hasn't offered any details of its demise, the fees it was charging residents were likely not enough to cover the high rents that it was paying to landlords, on top of the services it provided, which included everything from maintaining yards and hot tubs to organizing beach barbecues.
