In a neighborhood not exactly known for yards or any other type of generous outdoor space, this two-bedroom terrace (sorry!) condo in Yerba Buena has turned our heads. Located at 829 Folsom, a nine-story, 69-unit mid-rise that went up in 2010, the fifth-floor unit has a prodigious south-facing deck, with direct access (not to mention full walls of glass) from each bedroom. From the looks of things, the deck actually seats more people than the living room, so investing in good outdoor furniture is more crucial than even liking your couch.
The unit, which is asking $1 million, has 875 square feet of space, two bathrooms, and a parking spot in the garage below. The condo has maple wood floors and kitchen finishes that are probably not destined to be universally liked, and carpeting in the bedrooms (boo). But if your priorities are limited to sauntering in for one more beer and turning back around, well, it probably wouldn't hurt to make the best of things and just invest in a good vacuum. HOA dues are $651/month, by the way, and there is a communal roof deck up top.
