The latest development planned for Central SoMa, an area awash with change, is a $30 million residential building at 552 Brannan Street. The site is currently the home of BabyCenter LLC but would turn into a 77-unit building with a mix of one- and two-bedrooms designed by Solomon Cordwell Buenz, if all goes according to plan. A Preliminary Project Assessment was filed last week by property owner Don Bauer, and a completed building is likely four or five years away. [SF Business Times/Rendering via SCB]
