Randi Zuckerberg Kisses Los Altos House Goodbye for $6.549M

Back in May, Randi Zuckerberg listed her Los Altos six-bedroom Georgian for $5.488 million, turning heads with her famous last name and her adventurous taste in wallpaper. The neoclassical abode, which shares its grassy lot with a 280-square-foot poolhouse, has officially changed hands for $6.549 million, more than $1 million over asking. Zuckerberg, sister of Mark and former head of Facebook's marketing department, is the founder of Zuckerberg Media, whose servicey Dot Complicated reads sort of like Goop, if Goop were ghostwritten by About.com. According to Business Insider, Zuckerberg is rumored to be moving to New York.

Built in 2006, the home carried over a smidge of its flamboyance from the previous owners, who definitely had a curved golden brick ceiling and leopard-print carpet in the media room. The pink-and-purple lips wallpaper is all Zuckerberg, however, as is the trompe-l'oeil black ruche-style wallpaper in a foyer that looks out onto a formal garden path. We kind of doubt that the new owners will take this house up a few more notches, but we'd like to see them try.
