Teatro ZinZanni was unanimously voted in yesterday by the Board of Supervisors to be the sole bidder on a pair of waterfront lots at the Embarcadero and Broadway. As you may recall, the nonprofit theater group has proposed for the site a spiegeltent inside a gazebo alongside a hotel with 180 to 200 rooms. Hornberger + Worstell is on board as the architect. Neighborhood groups are fans of the plan, which still has to make its way through the entitlement and environmental review process. [SF Business Times]
