Apple Space Race

While Apple has been building its big, fancy Norman Foster-designed spaceship, it has also been on the hunt for new properties to lease around Silicon Valley. The new headquarters will clock in at 2.8 million square feet, but the company is also looking for 2 million more square feet, mostly around Sunnyvale. As the company continues to grow, it needs space for additional employees, research and development, and industrial operations. [SF Business Times]
