Fans of lieutenant governor Gavin Newsom want to display a bronze bust of the politician in City Hall, where he once served as mayor. Newsom, who says he feels "awkward" about the whole thing, has already gone through two sittings for Piedmont-based artist Bruce Wolfe. Unfortunately, the former mayor's signature toothy smile won't be shown in the bust because, as Wolfe explains, sculptors never sculpt teeth in bronze because "everything turns green after awhile."
