Building Up Berry

The last empty lot in the northern part of Mission Bay at 360 Berry Street has begun its transformation into a 129-unit rental complex. The development has lagged behind others in the neighborhood, stuck for more than a decade thanks to its location in the shadow of Interstate 280 and to the Mission Bay plan, which initially designated the site for units to be sold to moderate-income families. The plan was amended to allow rentals, and 23.5 percent of the units will go to moderate-income families making around $91,700 for a family of four. [SF Chronicle/Photo via Argosy Real Estate]
