Two empty lots on the north side of Bernal hill are the proposed site for a pair of single-family homes, and tonight the Northwest Bernal Heights Design Review Board will consider the plans. The pair of lots has been vacant so long that it's come to be treated as an extension of Bernal Heights Park, and some residents have McMansion-shaped fears about what could be coming to the lots. So far, though, the proposed homes sound reasonably sized, with square footages coming in at 2,225 for 6 Bonview and 2,558 for 409 Coso. [Bernalwood]
