Half-Finished Eureka Valley Megahome Suddenly Asks $3.495M

It seems like the drama may never end for currently under-construction property at 4546 19th Street in Eureka Valley. The property was sold back in 2011 for $1.05 million, and its new owner promptly began putting together plans to make major changes. The humble facade was to be turned into a modern cube, a roof deck was to be added, and a rear addition was going to connect the house to its detached garage. Neighbors weren't too happy about all the changes and attempted to block it through the discretionary review process, but the renovations were approved. Now, with construction well under way, the half-finished property is back on the market asking $3.495 million.

When finished, the home will be a four-bedroom, four-and-a-half bathroom abode with 4,696 square feet. The facade alterations were designed by architecture firm Medium Plenty and are already taking shape in the construction process. However, a tipster tells us that the house will likely cost another $2.5 million to finish and take about another year. When it is done, there will be two kitchens, three terraces, an elevator to all five levels, and garage parking for two cars.
