Apple is considering north San Jose for a major expansion, according to real estate insiders. The company has been eyeing two major sites: a 300,000-square-foot development site on Orchard Parkway and a potential 1.5-million-square-foot site near the San Jose airport. Apple has already taken up nearly all the available space in its hometown of Cupertino and has been moving into Santa Clara and Sunnyvale over the past few years. [Silicon Valley Business Journal]
