Looks like Marriott is planning to put up a four-story, 65-room Moxy by Marriott hotel at the old Tower Records site at 1196 Columbus Avenue, near Fisherman's Wharf. J Street Hospitality and Moxy by Marriott are mum on details so far, but the developer's website says the hotel—which is pitched as offering an affordable boutique experience—would open in the summer of 2018.
