For $1.895M, a Pretty Cottage Spared By the 1906 Earthquake

Though the 1906 earthquake and fire destroyed most of the city, one place where the devastating blaze stopped was the 1300 block of Russian Hill's Greenwich Street, the site of this wood-framed cottage now on the market for $1.895M. Built in the 1880s by a local butcher, the home was originally a single-story structure with an attic and basement. It was fully renovated in 1922 and again in the late 1950s, during which the living room was extended and a new staircase, windows, and roof deck (with Golden Gate Bridge views) were added.
