Noe Valley's Most Affordable One-Bedroom Asks Just $495K

New, 2 comments

At the very top of Noe Valley's quiet Alvarado Street sits a fairly nondescript tenancy-in-common building. On a block and in a neighborhood filled with charming multimillion-dollar single-family homes, the only thing notable about this particular property is the remarkably low price of the one-bedroom unit within that just hit the market asking $495,000. The modest apartment does have stainless steel appliances in its small but modern kitchen and great views out across the city's southern hills to the water.

There's a shared balcony, a big closet in the bedroom, and a parking spot downstairs. The unit itself doesn't have laundry, but HOA dues of just $300 per month do cover common laundry in the building and a shared barbecue area. The apartment is certainly nothing flashy, but it seems like a pretty good deal in a neighborhood where it's hard to find a home that isn't in the seven-figure range.
