Adorable Bernal 3-Bedroom on Holly Park Adorably Asks $950K

A supercute moss-green two-story home in the collective retro fantasy that is Bernal Heights has landed on the market for $950K, which sounds like a (relative!) steal for something cute in a neighborhood with a median list price of $1.049 million. Located right on Holly Park, the home has three bedrooms, two baths, and 1,428 square feet of space, making its price per square an alluring $665. The current owners have played up the property's vintage charm with ample instances of tree-branch art, at least one garden gnome, and what looks like an enormous console hi-fi in the dining room.

Downstairs there are wood floors and a retro-in-the-best-way kitchen, complete with verdigris-hued cabinetry and green checkerboard-tiled countertops. The downstairs bath, on the other hand, is a homely combo of brown and purple, which helps take the sting out of not living there. The upstairs bath has a clawfoot tub (of course), but the flooring in the master bedroom seems to be lino tile—evidence of updates yet to be made that may be helping the asking price stay under the $1 million mark (see also: office ceiling). We don't expect the same of the sale price, sadly.
