Mercifully Still-Intact Victorian Seeks $2.95M in Upper Haight

New, 2 comments

Tucked between Buena Vista Park and the Panhandle, a gorgeous five-bed, five-bath Victorian just landed on the market seeking $2.95 million. It's got all the details you'd expect, and then some, from the facade's sorbet hues of yellow and blue to wood-carved wall panels to a trio of stained glass windows in the, er, parlor. The fireplace has carvings of its own, along with geometric tile and what looks like some sort of nature scene, if we squint. Built in 1891, the property last changed hands in 2012 for $2.2 million, and it's received a few updates since. The brown kitchen cabinets are now white, and a yellow-tiled bath of a certain vintage has been made over in a much more toned-down blue.

There's an in-law apartment downstairs, and out back is a totally adorable if small brick patio, along with a hot tub that may be getting on in years. There's also parking for one car, and, per the brokerbabble, views of Alamo Square a few blocks away. We hope the buyers continue what the sellers started and keep their modifications to a tasteful minimum.
