Glass Struggles

Several San Francisco high-rise projects are facing months of delays because of a shortage of glass curtain-wall systems needed in construction. Both 399 Fremont, which is set to have 447 apartments, and the 556-unit 299 Fremont are struggling with overseas supplier problems and labor issues that make it difficult to ship into West Coast ports. The delays could cost the projects millions. [SF Business Times; previously/Photo via Solomon Cordwell Buenz]
